About Rainier League of Arts

Rainier League of Arts” is a non-profit art club located in Tacoma, WA. Meetings feature artist demonstrations of techniques and materials such as: Oil, watercolor, pastels, colored pencil, charcoal, acrylic, 3D art, photography and mixed media. “Rainier League of Arts” club shows art in local area venues. Fred Oldfield was one of the founding members, some current members are also professional artists. The club was started in 1968 by Roseli Souza, Paul Chalk, Hazel Gibbons, Fred Oldfield and Aletha Deuel. “Rainier League of Arts” welcomes new members including fine artists, photographers, as well as new emerging artists. There is no fee to attend the first meeting, after that, yearly club dues are $25 for 2019-2020. “Rainier League of Arts” (RLA) meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7PM at the Mid-County Community Center, 10205 44th Ave. E, Tacoma, WA (Located behind Central Avenue Elementary School) No meetings in July or August. December's Holiday Potluck in lieu of meeting.

"Visions of Peace" Art Show

SCHEDULE CHANGE:  Art show ended on Dec. 6th due to painting of the Puyallup Activity Center by the City of Puyallup.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

The “Visions of Peace” Juried Art Show features over 40 paintings by members of Rainier League of Arts, which reflect the theme of “Peace”.  Miniature paintings and 3D art will also be on display beginning October 24th.

Meet these talented artists at the Reception on Thursday, November 1st, 5pm – 6:30pm.  (Awards announced at 5:30pm)

Premier Gallery is located inside the Puyallup Activity Center, 210 W Pioneer, Puyallup, WA.  Regular gallery Hours:  Mon – Friday 9am – 4:30pm. - curated by Arts Downtown.
